Adult Family Living (AFL) is a State funded program that pays family members take care of their loved ones in the comfort of their own home.
Clients- Need assistance with at least one or more activities of daily living (ADLS)
No cost to you if approved by Medicaid
To the Client -help with (ADLS) and (IADLS)
To the caregiver -Tax free compensation determined by the level of care. Caring for a family members.
Weekly check ins
1 Visit a month with a nurse
Monthly support groups with a Care Manager & refreshments
